I created a replacement part for Ford Escape hood clip. I put it in place we will see how long it holds up. It fit perfectly into the slot and the rod clipped firmly into place. I found the clip online for about $3.95 which I would have bought if it wasn't for the $12 shipping. I thought since I own two 3D printers I try to make the part. Even if the part does not hold up under the hood for more than a month or two for $16 I could reprint and replace 500 times or print in a stronger material. I used Hatchbox ABS filament.
