This is a fully functional hood hinge designed specifically for Team Raffee Co.'s Wrangler Rubicon 5-Door RC-car body. Important: Before starting the installation process, please note that you will need to grind away the fake hinges already cast into the body and carefully cut open the hood. It's crucial to use all necessary safety equipment to avoid any potential harm or damage. The hinge consists of two parts for the hood side half, which are screwed together instead of glued, allowing for easy removal of the hood without having to remove the piano wire, a task that can be challenging when the hinge is glued in place. To connect these parts, you will need to carefully cut open the small slot located under the cast hinge. This design has been optimized for Team Raffee Co.'s body and thoroughly tested, but it may also work well with other hard bodies. However, please note that it has only been designed and tested specifically for this model.
