The original of the hood ornament has been put up for sale on Ebay, available for $5,000.00. The seller provided numerous pictures, allowing me to finally examine what's under the surface. The photos with the chrome finish were taken directly from the Ebay listing. There are at least two versions in existence - one piece and two piece castings. I designed the attachment that connects to the base as a separate component. By splitting the saucer and printing the bottom upside down, it should be possible to print everything without any supports needed.
