Hongus Pocus

Hello! This is my contribution for the #MushroomChallenge. I created both the character and environment with a couple of quick sketches, then got to work with high enthusiasm. As October draws near and Halloween with it, combining these two concepts seemed like a great way to craft an atmosphere that's equal parts fantasy and mystery. The title is a nod to the classic film Hocus Pocus - in Spanish, "Fungus" translates to "Hongo". I sculpted everything using Zbrush, handled retopology, and brought it all to life with 3DsMax, then added textures by hand-painting them on 3DCoat.
