According to Wikipedia: The iconic Clock Tower is a well-known landmark in Hong Kong. It's the last remnant of the original Kowloon Station on the Kowloon-Canton Railway and bears its official name: Former Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock Tower. Built using the recovered clock from the Pedder Street Clock Tower that had to be demolished, only one side was equipped with a timepiece initially. It took until 1920 for the other three sides of this notable landmark to get clocks installed as well. On March 22nd, 1921, at the afternoon hours they all began their operations simultaneously, which have continued without interruption - excluding that six-month-long Japanese occupation period during WWII, where these mechanisms had ceased to function.
