This is a mount I designed for a medication scanner at work. The print comes in four pieces - the mounting plate, the tree supports for the mounting plate, the C clamp, and the C clamp screw. You will need to attach the tree supports as a part to the mounting plate for the rail overhang. To do this in PrusaSlicer, right-click on the mounting plate, go to Load, and select the tree supports, which should place them where they need to be. I set the tree supports to 1 perimeter and 0% infill for easy removal and minimal waste. However, since the rail curves up, the edges might need to be cleaned up a little bit after printing. Remove the tree supports with pliers or your fingers, scrape off any residual chunks, and give the bottom of the rail a light sanding if you want to smooth out the surface. The tree supports work well, but feel free to create your own supports. The only thing that needs them is the rail overhang. Everything should be oriented the way it needs to be printed. Print with at least 3 perimeters to ensure strength in the rails. I used 15% infill with rectilinear, but you could probably use less. I tested both PLA and PETG. I got a nicer surface with PLA since it bridges a bit better. Assuming you aren't slamming the scanner in there, it shouldn't break.
