Honeycomb roller press.

Update: thanks to numerous requests, I've modified the hexagons so that when fitted in a hive, the bottom cell will be flat instead of angled. The accompanying roller now sports a "90deg" at its name's end. My sibling and his buddy score extra wax from their bee colonies but have to pay for wax foundations featuring the classic hexagon pattern - this is an experimental batch, by the way, with commercial versions sporting a much wider diameter drum pair. First-time attempts at printing a roller took an astonishing 24 hours, due to my Rostock delta printer's height limitation of about 300mm. Printing in this vertical configuration revealed another challenge: wax proved to be extremely sticky on PLA material, making it ideal for laser powder printers instead. If anyone succeeds with nylon, I'd appreciate feedback so I can update the instructions accordingly. A bit of flexibility was observed affecting drawing precision at the top cog's edge; thickening the brim would likely have addressed this issue.
