These honeycomb medal display hangers are designed to display your collection of virtual challenge medals in pride of place on your wall. The honeycomb shape allows your collection to expand as you earn more medals and looks great when you have one or one hundred medals! They are sized to suit medals supplied by "Race The Distance" in the UK but it should work with other medal suppliers, Conqueror, Race At Your Pace etc... Ribbon slot is designed for up to 30mm wide ribbons and the inner disc is approx 100mm diameter The magnetic message piece is optional and I have uploaded a SOLIDWORKS 2018 part file to allow others to create custom messages You will need 6x 6mm X 3mm neodymium magnets and suitable glue to hold them in place, I used UHU. For heavier medals you may need additional magnets and there are extra holes for another two sets. To wall mount use double sided sticky pads. I printed all parts with the outside face down on a pei sheet to give a smooth shiny surface (opposite to the thingiverse preview) Tree support will be needed for the base if printing this way. 5% gyroid infill was plenty. The base is a 4 1/2 hour print The inner is a 2 hour print The text will vary but the one on my model is approx 1 hour If you like the design and make some of your own please post a make photo :D
