Honeycomb Hexagonal pattern soap dish tray
thingiverse
I'm going to print out a pair of honeycomb pattern soap dishes, one with a natural edge design and one with a smooth crisp edge. I've seen some other honeycomb designs online, but most of them had sharp edges or would print in ways that leave stringing behind, so I opted for this cleaner look. It will print as a dish and four independent feet that need to be glued into the bottom of the dish. If you adjust the clearance parameter in the file correctly for your printer, the feet might fit without glue. The gap under the dish created by the feet should allow water to drain, preventing soggy or sticky soap. The designs rely on a lot of floating-point math, so please be patient when rendering them in OpenSCAD - it might take some time due to the complexity of the calculations.
