I really like the original design and made a couple of them already.

But I discovered that I wanted to change and improve a couple of things. My redesign includes the following changes:

The hexagon are now over lapping which means that internal and external walls have the same thickness. I think that looks more sleek.

I remove 2 hexagons in the base, to make it look "lighter"

The stand and the base are joining differently. The base has a recess for the stand to be glued in. Unlike the original the fit is tight.

The size is same as the original and just fits on the bed of PRUSA. Its big enough for large headsets.

========
picture of the print will follow soon

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

i3 MK3

Rafts:

No

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

0.15

Infill:

20

Notes:

Supports are recommend for the base part, to support the recess.

I used a wide brim for all parts, otherwise the bed adhesion was not good enough.

Post-Printing

The three parts need to be glued together. I used superglue and light clamping pressure.

Category: Audio
