Honeycomb Flight Yoke Lighting
thingiverse
Important Note: Schematic picture displays a 680K ohm resistor, which should actually read 680 ohms. If you purchase the LED package shown, it comes included. This solution addresses the issue of not being able to see switch labels on the Honeycomb Flight Yoke in low light conditions. I ordered LEDs and resistors from Amazon. Using white PLA was necessary since black filament was unavailable, but painting it was an option. An old USB cable was repurposed by cutting it off, then wired into the junction box using the RED (+) and BLACK (-) wires. The setup is attached to the junction box with sticky tape on the back. Wiring is straightforward, although working with small components can be fiddly. The brightness level suits me, but other values can be experimented with.
