Honeycomb Desk Organizer

My design is a honeycomb desk organizer, it is intended to help classmates organize their school materials. It would hold any type of school material, it could also be used as a earphone/headphone holder, wire holder and more. It would take up less space than the average desk organizer, it would also be convenient for the student. I came across a variety of issues, one of them was the the base of the honeycomb. The base had to be an appropriate size, so it wouldn't take up much space but it also had to be big enough to hold school materials. Another issue I had was with the walls of the desk organizer, I actually created the walls accidentally and I almost deleted them but saw how they would add to the functionality of the design. If I could redesign this I would probably change the functionality of it, I would make it have many different functions than it already has. I would make it be able to hold notebooks or binders and rulers. I think 3D printing can help strengthen my design because the base is strong but the walls(which were meant to support the base) will not support the base as much as I predicted. If it was 3D printed, the walls would actually end up supporting the base which would lead to an all around better design.
