Honeycomb Alpha Yoke iPad Mini Holder
thingiverse
I needed a holder for my iPad Mini that fit perfectly with the Honeycomb Alpha Yoke but couldn't find one, so I took matters into my own hands and created one from scratch. To make this custom holder, you'll need to have a 40mm M5 bolt on hand or something similar - if you're feeling adventurous, you can always drill out the hole for a larger bolt. It's also a good idea to use washers on both sides of the bracket to ensure a snug fit and prevent any movement. I used Cyanoacrylate glue to bond the two parts together along with an instant-set adhesive to make sure everything held up tight. To add an extra layer of security, I applied a thin (1mm) layer of rubber inside the bracket using the same glue - this helps keep the iPad in place and prevents any slippage. This design was intentionally created to accommodate some degree of slack due to the inherent imprecision of 3D printing. It's also worth noting that it can be printed without supports, which made things a lot easier for me. I used CCTREE PLA with a temperature setting of 215 degrees, four shells, and an infill percentage of 20% to get the job done.
