I'm building the HoneyPi Beehive Libra (https://www.honey-pi.de/). The housing in the pictures was attached with hot glue, but I swapped it out for screws that fit into a sheet metal plate. I ordered some extra parts not listed on the homepage. My setup includes a Pi Zero W, an HX711, and a BME280, along with several other components. The load cell wiring is similar to what's described on the Honey Pi website (https://tinyurl.com/u2v6mf4). For solar power, I'm using this module (https://amzn.to/30yrm5p) with PWM control. My battery choice was initially this one (https://amzn.to/3apu5Cr), but it's too small; I'll be switching to this model (https://amzn.to/2vr1aOF) instead. To assemble the project, you'll need 12 M3 screws and four additional screws for securing the Pi housing. Simply print out the housing, cover, and battery holder components, then choose between a WiFi or mobile network setup. Note: Amazon links are referral links, so a small commission goes to the HoneyPi developer.
