Honda VTX LED conversion brakets
thingiverse
This is a bracket for Honda VTX headlight LED conversion. I downloaded and printed one previously, but it was trash - didn't work or fit right. So, I made this one on Fusion 360 after a few attempts, and it turned out perfect. On Bracket 1 Part 1, you'll need to adjust the holes with a drill just a few millimeters side to side. The bracket #2 is flawless and requires no adjustment, but you'll need to tap the side hole with an M5 0.9mm thread. I printed Bracket 1 in PC in black - it's an outside part that's visible from the housing, so I used high-temperature plastic and black because I have a black LED headlight installed. Part #2 was printed in ABS+, and it turned out great. I printed at a quality of 0.25mm on ABS+ with a speed of 50 mm/s, and on PC at 0.25 layer height with a speed of 45mm/s. On part 2, I used a 10mm brim and supports that only touched the build plate, so my side holes were clean and turned out well with a first print. Enjoy! Thanks for looking - please post a pic after you install the light because mine turned out PERFECT! Have a great day and stay COVID-free!
