This Spacer fit the Honda RC46 VFR 800 Fi and 800 VTEC. 1st models up the the last ones of 2014 before new model (RC79). It fit's between the main frame and the shock clevis. The 17mm nut to the clevis is between the fuel tank and the seat. The clevis nut is undone (but not removed), the bike then jacked up so that there rear suspension can hang down ( so paddock stand will not work) The spacer can then be slipped in, preferably with the slot facing the front of the bike (Note, the rear of the cross frame bar has a 6mm lip. The spacer fits up to the lip and must NOT be sitting on it). The bike lowered of the jack, then the nut re-tightened. All pictured in the heading pictures. Check the pictures that show were the spacer fit's. Why fit one. It lifts the rear of the bike slightly which steepens the fork rake, this in-turn speeds up the steering a little. Also the tyre can rub on the connecting exhaust pipe of after market exhausts on the VTEC's when loaded up.
