My buddy was refurbishing a Honda VF 750 but couldn't find a new Reset Knob for the trip meter on the instrument panel. After some deliberation, we decided to make a new replacement part ourselves. All dimensions match the existing shaft on the instrument panel perfectly, which should result in a snug push-fit. However, the original also used a small screw to secure the knob in place. Dimensions: External Body: 12mm diameter - 20mm tall - 1mm chamfer on top edge - 1.4mm diameter flutes into the body. Internal Cutout: 4mm lower shaft with a 0.6mm flat, then a 2.5mm and 4.5mm top shaft for the retaining screw. I've included two designs: one with eight flutes and another with sixteen flutes.
