Honda Shadow RS speedo bezel

Honda Shadow RS speedo bezel

I've had a major issue with my speedometer face plate warping on my 2010 Honda Shadow RS. According to Honda, it's because of my aftermarket Memphis Shade windshield installation. Whatever the reason, I was getting fed up with constantly disassembling and rebuilding everything. So once I got my 3D printer, that was it for me. These two components replace the original chrome bezel (once you manage to remove it). You still use all the rest of the speedometer parts, including the rubber seals and trim. Just discard the chrome bezel. Now you can modify, customize, edit, and fabricate as much as you want without taking out the speedo or forcing the bezel off every time you feel like making a change. Simply unscrew the new bezel, make your adjustments, and screw it back together. The speedometer face in the picture is just a prototype, so I haven't uploaded that file yet. But it's made from white ABS plastic, and it has seen plenty of sunlight without warping at all! The bezel is crafted from Proto Pasta carbon fiber htpla material. The color matches the rest of the speedo perfectly, and it hasn't melted or become misshapen. I don't think this will work for speedometers not mounted outside the tank, but it might work for other models by simply resizing your dimensions to fit your needs.
