Honda Odyssey Tablet Holder (Lenovo Tab 7)
thingiverse
I use my Lenovo Tab 7 tablets as a GPS system and e-book reader with Voice Aloud by Hyperionics.com, an outstanding app that keeps me sane during my daily commute. You can check it out here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hyperionics.avar. I've got it installed in my Honda Odyssey. I experimented with several mounts for those tablets and phones, but none of them were good enough. The last one almost pulled out the CD player face plate, so I decided to create a custom holder that fits into the panel shelf/cavity. It holds securely within the cavity, which is great. I had initially planned to heat and bend the lip to use it as a spring retainer, but ultimately left it flat since it wasn't really necessary. A few folded napkins around the insert keep it in place just fine. You can see the original project here: https://a360.co/2G3YhGz. This holder will fit any tablet that's 112 mm wide and up to 10 mm thick. I made a hole for the power and volume buttons specifically for my Lenovo Tab 7, but other tablets may also fit.
