Honda Odyssey headrest bushing
thingiverse
I noticed that a missing bushing for the headrest on one of my rear seats prompted me to create this design. It prints in two pieces, which are then glued together. The top piece features a cavity to help center the 'D' shaped component during glue-up. Trimming may be necessary if your printer has a tendency to over-extrude on the first layer. This part is designed for early 3rd Generation Odysseys, specifically those manufactured between 2005 and 2007. In 2008, these vehicles were equipped with Active Head Restraints, so I'm not sure how much changed. If you need a bushing for a 2008+ Odyssey, please leave a comment to let me know if this design works for you. I recommend printing in ABS or PETG due to the potential for high temperatures inside a vehicle. After testing, I found that PETG held up well after a week of exposure to 90*F temperatures. However, the cushion of the seat caused the bushing to work its way up and out of the pipe. To address this issue, I modified the bushing insert to be twice as long, and I recommend using v2 of the STL file for better results.
