Honda Monkey Quick Release Seat Bolts

This is a quick-release seat bolt designed specifically for the Honda Monkey, tailored to my 2019 model. I opted for this solution so that I could use my key to remove the rear seat and access the storage underneath without having to resort to using tools. Of course, a flathead screwdriver would also work just fine. Requires an M8-1.25x20mm bolt for each side; I chose stainless steel. Additionally, I included a washer at the base of each bolt but I'm not convinced it's entirely necessary. Assembling this quick-release seat bolt is remarkably straightforward: simply drive the first part into place until 12mm protrudes, and then secure it tightly using a punch if needed. Next, tap in the second part to close off the bolt securely. You can apply a small amount of glue once it's fully seated – it'll never need to be removed again. Simply screw it in place of your existing seat bolts and enjoy the added convenience! If you require extra room for a larger bolt head or prefer a looser fit on the bolt or the key, you can enlarge the design by a couple percent without compromising its performance in the frame.
