This car has been driven for several months, requiring multiple fuel fill-ups; however, the design of the fuel filler door was flawed as it was easy to attach the cap but not the door itself. To resolve this issue, I designed a solution using ABS plastic that clips into the groove around the cap. After printing this, I researched the resistance of ABS to gasoline and found out that it is not very resistant. Nonetheless, as long as the cap seals properly, there shouldn't be enough gasoline vapor exposure to melt the ABS.
