Honda Element Storage Armrest bracket

Honda Element Storage Armrest bracket

If you own a Honda Element and purchased a super rare, expensive storage armrest on ebay, and the previous owner forgot to detach the metal bracket and include it in the sale, you've come to the right place. This part replaces the original bracket. I've 3D printed this in PLA+ and have been able to use it for a number of weeks on a Honda Element without issues. However, I strongly recommend NylonX or Carbon Filled Nylon for a more durable part. Print orientation should be so that the flat surface touches the build plate. This model should be printed with 100% infill and / or with as many perimeters to get all perimeters to touch each other (15 or 20 for example). 0.3mm layer height is acceptable. Supports are necessary for the fairly deep overhangs. A fairly strong and heat resistant material is highly recommended, such as nylon x, PETG, PCTG, polycarbonate, or other carbon fiber filled filament. The model is designed to take a pair of captive 8mm M5 nuts which allow bolting the armrest circular plastic part (with the release button) onto this. Do not overtighten the two M5 screws during install.
