I crafted this custom part in Fusion 360 after my original component shattered, leaving my brake pedal lights blazing all night. The original component was a mere $9, and with everything automotive closed for the night, I took matters into my own hands. This innovative part is specifically designed to be printed using Flexible filament, and I opted for Priline TPU. To ensure precision, I utilized a Mitutoyo Absolute Digimatic to take measurements, which I then carefully adjusted. The dimensions of this part are 16mm in width and 4mm in thickness. A subtle rear spike is all that's needed to secure it in place; simply push it into the hole where the old component resided under the dash. Compatibility: This custom fit is designed for the 2005 Honda Element, but may also work on select Acura models.*If you decide to test it, please let me know how it performs.* Original Part Information: The OEM equivalent is Honda Part # 46505-SA5-000 (#13 via Vehicle Diagram), which is officially known as PAD, PEDAL STOPPER. Alternatively, Dorman 74015 may also be a suitable replacement.
