Honda CRV Tailgate Stopper (Door Stop)

This part replaces the plastic gadget that fits over the gas cylinder of the rear hatch to keep the door open against wind or gravity (if parked on a slope). It was made for a 2000 model but might work for other years. I have two versions - one complicated and one simple. The complicated version closely matches Honda's original design, but I think it is not very strong. The simple version (shown) is rough but much stronger and quicker to print. Printer Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker Original Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Notes: I tested both designs in ABS and printed them solid. The complicated version needs support, but the simple one does not. The complicated version broke between layers when trying to install it. Using acetone on the finished product or printing with better inter-layer bonding material is suggested. The simple version worked great and held the door firmly against my pushes, so I recommend using it over the fancy but flimsy complicated version.
