This can be a bit of a challenge, but it's doable with some preparation and attention to detail. Be sure to watch the video before attempting to print this remix of the Honda Key Chain. The original key ring hole has been removed and resized, while new threads have been added using Metric Screw Thread Library found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:31363. To achieve good results, use these Support Material settings: Grid Type Spacing - 7mm Infill Angle - 90 degrees (defaulting to 45 degrees might cause issues with your Y axis) Interface Layers - 9 layers Distance for X and Y - 2.5mm (you may be able to go down to 2mm, but anything less could result in misaligned threads) Z Gap - 6 layers Now, here are the Print Settings: Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer Model: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: High .1mm Infill: 100% Notes: Used glow in the dark PLA; please refer to support structure settings for more details After printing, carefully remove any supports. Ensure that the bottom of the screws is clear before taking out the main support structure. This design requires metric M8 coarse thread nuts for mounting, and you'll need to bore or drill out the small holes in the grill to accommodate the larger thread size.
