This is a custom trim piece designed to bridge the gap between the door and rear glass on a Honda CRV from 2002-2005. Its purpose is to provide a smooth path for the wiper blade to glide over, eliminating the common problem of aftermarket holders getting stuck in this groove. By doing so, it protects the rear wiper from premature burnout or breakage while ensuring reliable wiping performance. Design Process The profile was created using AutoCad Lt98 and then extruded and refined in Solidworks.
