My 2002 Civic Si Visor would not stay upright and would swing down all the time. I realized the support rod had crumbled inside causing it to swing freely. I cut a slice on the under side of the visor to access the components inside, pulled out the broken pieces and reverse engineered this part to replace the rod. The rod is Printed in ABS at 90% infill. Original part appears to be ABS and other plastics just don't work right. I've had this in my car now for 6 months with no problems through winter and summer. I tested PETG and PLA at multiple infill ratings and they turned out to be just too soft. After a few uses over a week the visor started to sag as the plastic smashed and flexed. Also, PETG will only hold the visor up in the stowed or 180 degree out position reliably. ABS with the same print has a smooth hold throughout the visor swing. I used a raft with full supports to get this to print smoothly. The slice cover was designed to slip over the cut and was printed in grey PETG with fuzzy skin setting. It has the added advantage of lightly dragging on the roof liner helping the visor stay at any angle like it is supposed to. **IF yours is just falling a little and not totally flopping down the rod may still be in one piece and you may not need to cut it out. From trial and error, I found that it can be pulled out if you take it off the roof of the car so you can work with it, flip the visor so it is in the upright position (90 degree angle to rod elbow) then pull straight out. The flat part of the rod lines up with the retainer metal section that is supposed to pinch it and keep it up. It wont pull out in other orientations unless it is broken off inside.
