Honda Civic Hood Pull

Honda Civic Hood Pull

Here is a replacement knob for the 7th generation Honda Civic with broken hood pull knobs. This part might also fit a 6th generation Civic, but I haven't verified that since I don't own one. If it doesn't work, you can probably modify the design to make it fit. This replacement knob fits over the hood cable with the remaining plastic surround from the old broken knob still attached. Don't cut away this plastic as the new knob attaches to it securely. I used Gorilla glue to attach mine and it works great. The glue actually expands when it dries, making a very tight fit that's secure. The print quality isn't perfect in my example photos, but it looks much better in real life than it does in pictures. I was too lazy to reprint the part and make some adjustments. It works just like the original! Depending on your printer settings, the mounting hole might be a bit too tight. If that's the case, you can find a drill bit to scrape out the hole or use a thin knife or metal object to scrape the inside of the hole until it fits snugly.
