Honda Civic 1.7L engine seal drivers
thingiverse
These are some drivers I made for installing the seals on a 2003 Honda Civic, 1.7L, D17A1 engine. I'm sure they would work on some other Honda years/models as well. Included are the drivers for the: - Rear main seal (use the flywheel bolts to press seal) - Front main seal (use harmonic balancer bolt to press seal) - Camshaft seal (use cam sprocket bolt to press seal) - The two axle shaft seals (one of those seals is bigger than the other - pick your driver accordingly - use a hammer to drive seal) - The spark plug tube seals in the valve cover (two pieces - use a 1/4 - 20 or similar bolt, nut, and washers to create a press) - A plug for the axle seals to prevent dirt from getting in the transmission while the axle shafts are out The bolt actuated drivers were designed to drive the seals flush with the seal flange (on my engine) when the driving bolt(s) were tight. If you want your seal driven more or less deep, you can scale the driver in the axis of the cylinder a bit to adjust. The axle seal drivers just use the transmission case as a stop. I used PLA and 50% infill, which was probably overkill. I was wanting them to be nice and stiff, though, which they were.
