Honda CBR 600 f4 Frame Slider

Honda CBR 600 f4 Frame Slider

Not sure how nobody has thought to make a motorcycle frame slider, but I'm showing you the one off my 1999 Honda CBR 600 F4. This design requires an aluminum insert so that it holds securely in place. I just got lucky with this project since my bike already had road rash damage on one of the sliders, which meant I had all the parts necessary to make this modification right away. Use high infill for obvious reasons - it's a no-brainer! I'm using 60% honeycomb with PETG material, and surprisingly, it actually adds a marginal amount of weight, which makes me feel good about its durability.
