The stock strut covers which protect the tops of your rear suspension from the elements attach to the struts themselves. The stock covers, for the most part, do not fit onto aftermarket coil overs. This cover instead seats around the rim surrounding the top of the strut. It should fit snugly, but in the case it is loose there is a hole which will accept an M3 x 6mm set screw
