Age: 120,000 - 80,000 years ago Material: Plaster cast Dimensions: Length, 112 mm; width, 134 mm; height, 73 mm Notes: The fossil called Skhul 5 was discovered in 1932 by T.D. McCown and H. Movius Jr., restored by C.E. Snow, and nearly complete mandible is preserved. A cast made by the University Museum of the University of Pennsylvania was added to the teaching collection of the Research Laboratories of Archaeology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The model was created by Steve Davis.
