This is my own conversion to get Homeworld ships into Star Wars Armada. As I got into the armada scene, boredom with watching space triangles kicked in, so something had to be done about it. The first thing that came to mind was using the same battle system for other ships. As a Homeworld fan, choosing this universe was easy - beautifully designed and diverse ships make it perfect for size and class systems that don't get out of hand. All prints should work interchangeably with the base game, but sanding will be necessary to fit snugly. If you want to go the cheap route, Thingiverse has some nice files for bases for squads and ships. The models for Kadesh come from this site: https://www.models-resource.com/pc_computer/homeworld/ I made adjustments so they are printable, but otherwise they are untouched. All files are designed to be printable on a small printer (M3D class). No pics yet as I'm in the middle of painting them, but will update once ready. For the most part, other races have been done - next up is Turanics, then Hiigarans, Vaygr, Kushans, and Taiidani. Only super big caps left to get to scale. I'll post them as I've made test prints to ensure they work. Only thing left to do with these is to create rules and cards for them. The swarmers should be easy, but incorporating Ion cannons into the game is a bit of a conflict - either long-range blacks or a new long-range die class? Any help with card design and such is most welcome. Edit 1.1.18 03.54 Changes were made to the mothership as the needle part prints too small at the last joint, updated both files. Recommend re-downloading the files if you want to print it. Edit 1.1.18 21.08 Added files for the MBF and FP with pegs, and uploaded pics of my atrocious paint job on the ships.
