Homeworking & Out of Office signs for computer screen
thingiverse
Why I work from home once a week and still get seen as invisible by my colleagues. I'm fortunate to have a company that allows me to work from home once a week. However, this freedom comes with a price - people often wonder if I'm off sick, working remotely, or in a meeting when they can't see me at my desk. These simple questions give away whether I'm working from home (which means they know they can reach out to me via Skype) or if I'm out of the office. The Signs: The signs are 20cm long and require approximately 9 meters of 1.75mm filament to be printed, with a 20% infill setting that should work just as well with less infill. You can choose to print one sign or both. Hooks: I didn't measure the amount of filament needed to print the hooks, but they're incredibly quick to produce. To determine which hook model to use, consider whether you have a recent screen or an older one (the thickness of your screen will make a difference). Two hooks are required for each setup. 2-colors printing: If you don't have a dual-extruder printer like me, you'll need to change your filament at 2.3mm in your slicer software. With Cura, use plugins like "Pause at height" or "Change filament" to make the process smoother.
