I'm absolutely thrilled to have finally discovered this! From now on, I'll be using supports - specifically tree supports. When removing the tongue, exercise caution and consider opting for a no-tongue version if you don't want any hassle. It's definitely possible to make it stand on its own, but I wholeheartedly recommend utilizing some kind of support system. A simple circle worked perfectly for me, but there are plenty of other stylish options available on Thingiverse that you can scale to suit your needs.
