HomePod - not really just a tribute

I'm beyond excited for the HomePod and can barely wait until it's available at the Apple Store! To hold me over, I've created my own mockup of this revolutionary speaker system. Using my two Ultimate UE Boom 1 & 2 speakers as building blocks, I designed a HomePod that fits perfectly inside them. Now I can pretend to have one already, right up until Christmas! My design consists of three main components: the main body, which features intricate geometry to recreate the woven pattern with precision; the adapter piece for the Boom (base), and the top section - which, unfortunately, doesn't include the cool screen on top, but does feature a logo. Please share my excitement by posting this mockup and discussing how we can't wait to get our hands on this groundbreaking new item at the Apple Store! One more thing to keep in mind: when printing this design, make sure to use 110% scale so that the Boom fits snugly inside. If you print it at 100%, it will be just a hair smaller than the real deal. Once you've printed it out, don't forget to post a photo for us all to see!
