Homemade intake manifold for sound reduction of air compressor
thingiverse
I conducted an experiment to utilize leftover materials for minimizing noise from a conventional air compressor in a small workshop. The device is notoriously loud, so I sought to find a viable solution. After implementing the noise reduction method, I achieved significant results: the maximum noise level decreased from 80 dB to 71 dB. Materials Utilized: * Cardboard * Plastic containers * PVC pipes * Styrofoam sheets Components Acquired: * Three-pole switch - 6,000 KRW * Electrical tape * Packing tape
