This digital source was created by the IEEE RAS UFABC Student Chapter through their innovative use of technology. The source box measures 100 x 60 x 60 mm in size, but can be easily scaled up or down to suit individual preferences, just be mindful of the hole sizes. If you don't have access to a laser cutter, no need to worry - this project can also be completed using a rotary tool or saw with ease. The instructions for building the electrical component of this digital source are available online at http://www.instructables.com/id/HomeMade-Digital-Source. To view the instructions in French, simply use the provided PDF file. Enjoy making this digital source! How I Designed This I used Solidworks to create a 3D model design for the top and bottom of the digital source. The dxf files were generated using SolidWorks as seen in the figure below. With the 3D part model ready, simply right-click on the surface you want to export as a DXF file and it's done.
