Homemade Accustrike Ultra Darts
thingiverse
I'm experimenting with creating some DECENT Ultra Darts. Please note that these models have not been tested and their performance is unknown, so feel free to give them a try. These parts are designed for use with 6mm ID - 16mm OD foam tubes, but they should also work with any 16mm OD foam tube. If the dimensions don't work out, I'll try redesigning them to make them more effective. Here's a quick cost breakdown: Three meters of foam tube costs around $15, depending on what you can find. One kilogram of good TPU on Amazon can be purchased for approximately $25. With these materials, each 3-meter tube can produce about 54 darts at a cost of around $0.28 per dart. Each kilogram of TPU can make roughly 500 darts at a cost of approximately $0.05 per dart (including the tip and DRM part). So, each dart is worth approximately $0.33. While this price isn't the best, it's significantly cheaper than official Ultra Darts, which cost around $0.50. This puts DECENT Ultra Darts on par with official Rival rounds in terms of pricing. It's likely possible to find these materials for even lower prices, but I haven't investigated that thoroughly yet.
