To enhance my Homeier STS kitchen hood's lighting, I chose to replace its bulbs with LED ones, which were 7mm longer than standard ones. To achieve a flawless appearance, I crafted an adapter for each light, as the hood has four. Each adapter required two pieces, so I made eight in total and reused the original screws. However, I needed extra 16 screws for assembly. Note that these adapters are suitable only for LED bulbs; using them with halogen bulbs may cause damage due to heat. Even when using LED bulbs, monitor the temperature.
