Homebrew - Made in FreeCAD
thingiverse
I saw a few homebrew filaments on the net charging people. I made an open source alternative. Tested and it does work, setting the flow rate to about 110% worked great for me, YMMV. Also, Thingiverse limits uploads to 262 MB, and the STL for this is about 419 MB. !!YOU WILL NEED FreeCAD TO EXPORT THIS STL DUE TO THIS LIMITATION!! Install FreeCAD, load the FreeCAD Homebrew file. Click on the body, then File -> Export, it will take a few moments to complete the export. Then you're ready to go. Fits on a 220 x 220 mm bed with 1.75 mm thickness, makes about 13 meters of filament. A test STL file is included to dial in the printer settings and filament changes to make sure you got things down.
With this file you will be able to print Homebrew - Made in FreeCAD with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Homebrew - Made in FreeCAD.
