I fabricated a replica of the original drive gears in my push mower after the originals gave out. I crafted them using PLA, and they appear robust enough. It's astonishing that the design is so rudimentary, the wear on this component seems inevitable, and sourcing replacements seems like an insurmountable task. There must be countless mowers in sheds across the country that need these tiny gears. I've moved my mower through four residences since it stopped working, holding onto hope that one day I'll manage to fix it!
