Home sensor for Tantillus

Home sensor for Tantillus

The original Tantillus lacks home sensors for X and Y, but I found it crucial for my "click and print" 3D printer concept. Thus, I crafted this add-on for the acrylic version, purchased from Indiegogo (http://www.indiegogo.com/tantillus), requiring no alterations to the original parts. The components are easy to print. Attach the nuts and M3 screws with the micro-switches using self-tapping screws and connect them to the driver board. Position the Y Home Sensor on the top left corner of the structure, near the top-right-front corner, while the X sensor should be fixed on the front panel through the front window, close to the top-left-front corner. For calibration, move the carriage manually to the extremes and adjust the sensors accordingly. The BOM includes: 2x 20mm micro-switches (http://br.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Honeywell/ZV10B70A01/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMtFyPk3yBMYYI0nvXV6ddkcmIv%2fkeci2vU%3d), 4x self-tapping screws 2.2x9.5mm (http://www.conrad-uk.com/ce/en/product/228737/TOOLCRAFT-DIN-7971-flat-top-sheet-metal-screws-with-slot-Galvanised-steel-22-mm-20-Units/2304030&ref=list), 2x M3x4 screws, and 2x M3 nuts.
