Having issues with the wood deteriorating on my home from it being constantly in the sun and rain. The home design is poor having the wood exposed on the roof. I made these caps to go on top of the exposed rafters. If installed properly up under the roof tiles, it will protect any water from getting on and sitting on top of the rafter causing wood rot. It will also protect from the sun. Also helps the water not run down the edge of the rafter.Notes:Import into slicer.Use slicer to cut to the length needed for your homeIf needed increase or decrees the size of the cap if your rafter is wider or narrower than the design.Print in PETG or other outdoor plasticPlace on the rafter making sure the plastic goes under the roof tiles to prevent any water from getting in-between the cap and wood rafter.
