Home Plant Watering System - For Blumat pipes
thingiverse
I required a watering system with adjustable sprayers for my automated balcony and garden. Given that I needed a large quantity, I didn't want to utilize a Gardena sprayer. Consequently, I designed my own Micro-drip/sprayer. To implement this design, I employed the Blumat watering pipe and Gardena pipe, both 8mm in diameter, paired with a 12V pump, water tank, and an ESP32 for control purposes. For sensor implementation, I utilized Giessomat sensors to monitor soil moisture and temperature, as well as a thermistor for these parameters. Additionally, I incorporated a DHT22 sensor to track air humidity and temperature. Update: The Blumat pipe fits loosely on the connectors, whereas the Gardena pipes fit snugly. Consequently, I now use only the Blumat from the pump to the plants, with the Gardena pipes taking over from there. (The Gardena option is also more economical since you can purchase them in 50m lengths.)
