This video demonstrates how it works: https://youtu.be/mIeqnrG8qjM At my workplace at Home Depot, I cut products like wire using "cut tickets" to record information. The main issue, as every Home Depot employee is aware of, is that the tickets come detached from the ticket holder, resulting in a cluttered apron full of loose paper. To solve this problem, I designed the "cut ticket" holder which securely holds the tickets and offers a protective cover. This holder can also have extra helpful information such as store maps or department phone numbers printed on its surfaces. This item is created specifically for notebooks measuring 140mm by 108mm in size. Users of different printers can use Sketchup to modify the designs so that it suits their particular notebook dimensions. (For example, those from Lowes, Hobby Lobby, or Wal-Mart.) Two small holes at the top allow users to hang their holders using zip tie hooks. A zip tie should be passed through these holes to form a hook, then attached with carabiners for a hanger. It's suggested to use 0.2mm as layer thickness and to print in orange Home Depot color. Snap the pieces together by hand or if desired, glue them together once they're put together correctly. The piece has diagonal edges which have been removed. Once it is fully assembled, split one ticket book into two halves, insert one half of tickets inside, then place any favorite references into open areas for printing. My design included store maps and phone lists of Home Depot's departments. Additionally, I placed a list for finding the location of most commonly asked items. To do this easily you should visit HomeDepot.com to get that information. To attach templates from printer scale setting and use it as your guides you need just to customize and edit the information as necessary before you can start printing them out. The initial design in "Retail Tools" was this ticket holder. Next is a dispensing tape tool with carabiner attachment, screwdriver holder which has storage space for a marker and another smaller utility, then there's telescoping box grabber available in this collection of tools. You could easily add to the group, just use a tag "#RetailTools!" UPDATED - The first upgrade 2016-01-09 Due to frequent breakage, the pen holder had been taken out. The spring is gone too because the papers don't slide apart anymore when held. As an addition it's now compatible with any notebook sizes from150mmx150mm up and on down, even on bigger print beds (Like in the case of a Printrbot).
