Home Depot Bucket Funnel
thingiverse
This creates a funnel inside of a 5 gallon Home Depot bucket to route dry material down to a hole in the center of the bottom. It's not a complete solution on its own, and is the first step in a DIY salt spreader that I'm working on, but it could be adapted for seeds, dry food, or the like. In the future, hope to have a shaft going down the middle with a spreader plate spun by a 18V drill or similar. There also needs to be a gate or valve to control the flow of salt. Unlike commercial seed/salt spreaders I plan to just carry it instead of using wheels. Some kind of legs will be required to keep the spreader plate from hitting the ground. Maybe I'll never complete it, I don't know, but this is a first step that you might be able to use for something else. The 4 quarters fit pretty snugly, but builders adhesive or caulking might be a good idea for the finished project. FreeCad 0.18 source is included.
