Switchplate-mounted holder for Home Decorators ceiling fan remote control. Designed for toggle-switch-type switchplate. Uses original switchplate hardware and mounting screws. Inside surface of holder is contoured to snugly fit remote. Design provides back support, allowing remote to be used while mounted on the wall without torqueing the holder. Design skeletonized to reduce filament requirements while still providing rigidity. I switched out my ceiling fans, and with the remote control, I had an extra spot available on the wall switchplate. I originally replaced the toggle switch with a blank, but I really wanted my fan controls mounted on the wall. I'm planning on doing a couple more iterations of this design, 1 for a single gang plate replacement with integrated holder to the side, and 1 for a dual gang plate replacement just like the picture but integrated as a single piece.
