This model is the original enclosure for Home Assistant Yellow optimized for 3D printing. Compared to the transparent enclosure shipped with Home Assistant Yellow, it has a few adjustments which make it more suitable for 3D printing, in particular:Backplate has a flat bottom side Backplate corners are adjusted to avoid overhangBackplate is thicker to avoid warpingHoles for the enclosures are adjusted to fit off the shelf threaded inserts (see below)The enclosure should print reasonable well with standard settings. The model is rotated in print orientation already.The top part has 4 holes for thread inserts. They should work with off-the-shelf M3x5.7mm threaded inserts, e.g.Gewindeeinsatz / threaded insert M3 Standard 100 Stk / pcs from CNC KitchenThreaded Inserts (50-piece set) from 3D JakeUse a soldering iron to melt them in place.
